Our History

Located in Sacramento at McClellan Business Park, Lions Gate Hotel blends more than 70 years of military service and history with today’s demanding business climate. Its philosophy embraces the creative re-use of the former Air Force Base facilities. From 1939 until base closure in 2001, Lions Gate Hotel served as the General’s Quarters, the Officer’s Housing as well as the Officer’s Club. Lions Gate Hotel has retained its historic ambiance while acquiring all of the modern amenities.
