Historic Sacramento Deluxe Cottages - General's House & McClellan House
Why stay in a hotel room when you can enjoy one of our Historic Officer’s Homes? We offer a wide variety of options, from a 1 bedroom cottage, up to our fabulous Generals’ and McClellan Homes.
The General's Home was the official residence of the Base Commander,
when McClellan Park was an Air Force Base. McClellan House was reserved
for visiting dignitaries. There are also a variety of additional cottages
which were used for other Base officials residences.
Our cottages feature: Private Entrances, lovely manicured grounds and gardens, front and backyards, Living Rooms, Dining Rooms, Sun Rooms, a variety of Bedrooms (depending on the cottage layout) and bathrooms, ample closet space, Kitchens, and Parlors. Cottages range from 1000 – 2500 square feet.
Our deluxe Cottages can sleep up to 16 people comfortably (in our 4 Bedroom configurations), and have either one Queen or King sized Pillow Top bed, or two Full (Double) Pillow Top Beds. All deluxe guest rooms come complete with a sitting area/work desk, complimentary high speed internet, clock-radio, complimentary Continental Breakfast Buffet (for each registered guest), upgraded bath amenities, voicemail, upgraded TV channel lineup, free movie channels, microwave and refrigerator, and in-room coffee and tea service.
In addition, all rooms feature a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and full access to all of the hotels’ services and amenities. Our cottages feature private parking.
Our Historic Cottages are truly a piece of history. They were constructed in 1938, and are clustered around the Clubhouse and Pool. Each is constructed of poured concrete (look closely and you can see the wooden patterns from the frames), in a distinct lovely Art Deco style.
