Arco Arena
ARCO Arena is the top venue for sports, entertainment and special
events in the Greater Sacramento area. With over 200 spectator
events each year, ARCO Arena is one of the busiest buildings of its
kind in the United States.
The Sports - ARCO Arena is home to the Sacramento Kings of the NBA
and the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs. ARCO Arena has twice been host
to the NCAA Western Regional Men's Basketball Tournament. Come cheer
on your favorite players as the men and women of these exciting
teams take on the rest of the country.
The Concerts - Come see the biggest names in music play
unforgettable shows. Such legendary names as Paul McCartney,
Santana, Elton John, Neil Diamond and the Rolling Stones have made
their mark at the ARCO arena. As well as Garth Brooks, Green Day,
Gwen Stefani, Motley Crue and Nine Inch Nails.
The Special Events - ARCO Arena is capable of transforming its space
for nearly any event from monster truck rallies to ice shows and
even the Barnum and Bailey Circus.
Arco Arena has many concession options for all tastes from a "King"
sized hot dog to fine dining, including sushi and freshly squeezed
juices. Also available - a wine bar, beer bar and carving station.
The Skyline Restaurant is accessible to those who wish for more than
food-on-the run and accept reservations.
The $40 million, 442,000 square-foot arena opened in 1988 and was
built without taxpayer money. The current configuration seats up to
17,317.
